What's your feeling?

The focus of summer school is not on which university you want to go to in the future or which professor you like best, but on what you have experienced, thought and learned. If you are not sure about your major, you can choose 1-2 courses that you are more interested in to explore your interest in this course and know what it is to learn, so that you will have a little direction when choosing a major. I chose the direction of artificial intelligence. As a branch of computer science, the professor took me to explore the background of machine learning, neural networks and how they are used in artificial intelligence. One thing I feel deeply is that you must dare to express your ideas and take the initiative to participate and express, so as to help you find the feeling of class. Secondly, we must make more friends. Students from all countries will be a very good helper in both study and life when they get together.

Summer school is just the beginning, and there will be a harder journey in the future. I will also work hard and constantly learn from experience to lay a more solid foundation for my university. This is what I accomplished in the summer when I was promoted to senior three. Everyone chose to spend this summer vacation in a different way, but for me, the experience of summer school is unique and precious, and it is also worth improving my academic performance.

What's your feeling?

This summer school gives me the deepest feeling that there are people outside of us, and there are days outside of us. People who are better than us work harder than us. There is no reason for us to stop working hard, and communicating with them also makes me understand a deeper truth.

The advice I can give you is that language needs to be spoken boldly. Only by speaking it out and integrating yourself into the English environment can you gradually adapt to this feeling and atmosphere. If you just blindly learn books and words without applying them to real life, it is difficult to improve your oral English. In addition, we must put an end to "cloud learning", that is to say, turning on Tiktok or watching English bloggers and being indifferent. This is not only a waste of our time, but also bad for our eyes. Instead, we need to silently write down what they have taught with a pen, because it really works. Before going to bed at night, retell in English what we have done in the day. Language has a certain amount of input, coupled with output, and slowly improve the level of oral English. So no matter what you do, you should learn to be thick skinned. As the saying goes, thick skinned people can eat meat~
