In order to further deepen education exchange and cooperation between Jiangsu and Hong Kong, fully leverage the role of the Jiangsu Hong Kong Macao Basic Education Cooperation Alliance, and pragmatically promote the Jiangsu Hong Kong education exchange and cooperation project, on October 25th, 7 Hong Kong high school principals visited Jiangsu to participate in the Jiangsu Hong Kong Friendship School Exchange Symposium, and conducted in-depth discussions with 10 Jiangsu high school principals on the challenges and opportunities of secondary education in Jiangsu and Hong Kong. Principal Tang Min and Principal Shen Guifang from the International Department of our school participated in this symposium as representatives of Suzhou No.1 High School of Jiangsu Province.

Exchange and Discussion on Friendly Schools between Jiangsu and Hong Kong: Pragmatic Promotion of Education Cooperation Projects and Effective Implementation

The conference focused on the theme of "Challenges and Opportunities in Secondary Education in Jiangsu and Hong Kong". Wu Kejian analyzed the current difficulties faced by secondary education and proposed suggestions on how to carry out educational cooperation between Jiangsu and Hong Kong in the future.

Chen Di'an, the principal of Hong Kong Yinghua College and the chairman of the Hong Kong Direct Funded Schools Council, stated that through this visit, he not only experienced advanced teaching equipment, but also experienced high-level teaching curriculum arrangements in Jiangsu. He hopes to continuously enhance teacher-student exchanges between the two regions through the "Jiangsu Hong Kong Macao Basic Education Cooperation Alliance" in the future.

The two regions of Suzhou and Hong Kong are connected by their roots, have deep origins, and have close exchanges. Suzhou No.1 High School and Hong Kong Wang Huaxiang Middle School have established sisters friendship school, and the two schools regularly carry out in-depth online and offline education exchanges and discussions.

The International Department is also assisting students in their "Hong Kong applications" and achieving the full flowering of prestigious universities in Hong Kong, China, such as the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

By utilizing our profound cultural resources and educational advantages, we aim to clarify new goals, provide new resources, and make new contributions in promoting educational exchanges between young people in Jiangsu and Hong Kong.
