Recently, suzhou education association for international exchange organized a public welfare activity called "small messenger cloud diplomacy" for international understanding of education theme. The purpose of this activity is to continuously promote the implementation of international understanding education in primary, middle and high schools in Suzhou, encourage students to carry out cross-cultural research-based learning, facilitate in-depth exchanges between friendly overseas schools, and open up different cultural perspectives for students. The International Department of Suzhou No.1 High School actively responded to and participated in the activity.
After the Chinese and foreign students have formed a team, the theme of the activity will be determined in group form and the online communication and interaction will be carried out around their respective themes. Finally, the works reflecting the results of the activity will be submitted and selected.
The overseas friendly schools of this activity have targeted Cranleigh school.
After receiving the invitation, Cranleigh school agreed to the proposal of forming a team as soon as possible, and promised to recruit volunteers in the two overseas campuses in the UK and Abu Dhabi as soon as possible to carry out environmental research activities with the children participating in the activities.
This week, with the joint efforts of both sides, all the volunteers finally formed a successful team. 21 students from China, Britain and UAE were divided into 6 groups. The themes of the activities were as follows:
?Analysis of Public Health After the Epidemic;
?Marine, Endangered Species Protection Program;
?Daily Environment Skills in Life;
?Waste Recycling to Design Clothing or Handicraft;
?Water supply in desert regions;
?Environmental concerns in the construction and architectural industry。
At the same time, the six groups of students also successfully carried out the first Skype communication.
Next, the small messengers will conduct more in-depth cooperative research online, and eventually make the survey results into videos or reports to participate in the "little messenger cloud diplomacy" activity.
We believe that in the future, students will have more opportunities to learn from each other and cooperate with each other. At the same time, we also wish the students in this competition to achieve excellent results.
