This is a scene where grade 10 students from the International Department act as online teachers.
Since the end of March, more than 20 students from the international department have participated in the ASDAN online education public welfare project to provide children in poverty-stricken areas with knowledge power wrapped in warm packages. Covid-19 was threatening in the beginning of 2020, so "suspension of classes and non-stop learning" was signed. Students from China and the international community enrolled volunteers to make an online education for children in the countryside.
Online support activities will last for 6-8 weeks, breaking the space limit, and there will be 1-2 online support courses every week. This is a lasting and far-reaching activity for local children and volunteers.
Our new media agency is very concerned about this warm and far-reaching volunteer activity. In this regard, we interviewed the students participating in this activity:
It's hard to support teaching. It takes 4 hours to prepare for the lesson. Even if the lesson preparation is completed, there will be a little bit of a jam in the class. But the students will answer questions actively in class, so even if I forget what to do next, they will actively ask questions to ease the embarrassment. In our interaction, I can clearly feel their English is improving, and I also see positive efforts from them. So this experience is very meaningful.
Zhang Haotian felt the same way. He said that if the students answered the questions actively, they would have a little red heart as a reward.
I think my classmates have many different views on this teaching support activity, but they all say that this teaching support makes them really feel the hard work of the teacher.

I teach the children of grade 4. When they call me teacher, I don't think I'll be the teacher who trains the flowers of our country. At the beginning of the class, the students didn't understand the discipline of the class very well. Later, under our influence, the classroom atmosphere gradually improved, and the students also spoke actively. All in all, this time I have a deep understanding of teaching, but also realized that it is not easy to be a teacher.
